Debt Settlement Guide

Review Date: August 2, 2009
Reviewer: Jeff A., Los Angeles, CA
I am currently in the process of foreclosure due to job loss and this guide was very helpful. The information and tips on credit card debt settlement opened a whole new strategy to help me keep my home. I also found the sample forms to be very beneficial. I often hear people give advise to "write the company a letter" but sometimes I am just at a loss of what to say or what my rights are. The web links are also helpful in searching out the most current information from local and federal institutions.

I highly recommend this guide to anyone in a credit crisis. I feel terrible that I am unable to satisfy my debts. I had a 750 credit score before my job loss because I handled my obligations responsibly but the economy has taken its worst turn since the depression and I am all but out of options. The steps in this guide will at least give me a chance at a softer landing and put me on a quicker path to recovery.
