Product Description |
The Saddle Club is spending February vacation with the Devines at the Bar None Ranch. Colonel Devine has just bought some new horses and one of the mares reminds Carole of Cobalt, the first horse she really loved. Carole rides the mare and discovers that, while the mare has been trained, there is still something wild in her. Then the mare runs away. The Saddle Club finds her running with a herd of wild horses that lives on the Bar None land. They bring the mare back. She runs away again. They bring her back again, only to have her run away once more. Eventually, The Saddle Club and the Devines must face the fact that the mare wants to be in the wild--and that she belongs there. Carole's encounter with this free spirit teaches her something about herself, too. She has a very special talent--she's a natural horse whisperer.

If we could fit more stars on the screen, we would! This book had a great taste of excellence and plot line. This is the first book since HORSE SHY that Carole's had such a strong bond with a horse. Not even the brilliant story of STARLIGHT CHRISTMAS can beat this horse/rider bond. However, all of the Saddle Club books are fantastic including STARLIGHT CHRISTMAS. Please, trust us and buy or read this book. It was compelling yet relaxing and peaceful, in addition to a few humorous situations. A horse-lover's dream! A must-read. --The Stirrup Stars, Kelly, Cassidy, and Christie(e-mail us at: stirrup_stars@hotmail.com) ***********

The Saddle Club is heading out West. The ranch has just got some horses. Carole is shocked when she sees one of the horses he looks like a horse she had a special bond with. Carole is sure this horse deserves to be wild, dosen't he?
My favorite of the Saddle Club!

This is my favorite of the entire series! I have read them all, but this one is very appealing. Carole teaches an untamable wild horse to trust humans. She does in a way that supports the horse whisperer theory. Carole is my favorite, and I love the fact that she really understands horses. I hope you all enjoy this book, and I think the Saddle Club should take another trip out West to revisit Chance!

Of all the Saddle Club books there are and and all that are still to come this is the best! I LOVE Stevie and Lisa's kitchen fiasco and the fact Carole is a Horse Whisperer like Monty Roberts!I love rereading the wild horses part! I think they should make this into a movie. Especially the part when Stevie and Lisa try making a pie crust and end up flour-coated! Hurry up and order this book!
