To start with, this is a very important and informative read. It talks about the thing we all care about, especially now a days, in simple yet extremley detailed layout. We all think we know how to go about getting that figure we long for. At least for me, skipping a few meals was all it took to rid my beer belly. But i hated how it came and went so frequently. "Your Fat" explains the actual truths of where the beer belly comes from, and why it sticks around, and how to properly get rid of it. Its casual and even at times humerous attitude makes for a quick read. Coming from someone like me, that's a good thing. I usually can't finsh a book for the life of me. But this, i could pick up here and there, and before i knew it, i was done. It'll make you think twice about certain habits, while presenting a very constructive, pressure-less solution. I reccomend this book to everyone who loves to eat, of all shapes and sizes. Wether you don't care how big the beer belly gets, or if your trying to be the dude that always takes his shirt off. What you find in this book will change your everyday life, without beating you over the head. Full of fun and facts!

If you are interested in really learning about how your body processes fat, or just need some lifestyle tips as to how to keep it off, this book is for you. An added bonus is how beautifully simple and humerous it is written, making it an easy, informative, and fun book to read. It's not often superbly informative books are also fun to read page turners, but this book does just that. Read it cover to cover, or chew on a chapter at a time. Understand your fat, and smile all the while!

The only reason I didn't finish this book in one sitting is because the author advises that you take his suggestions one at a time. The book in and of itself is delightfully witty, entertaining, and just plain fun to read...and that's not even considering the abundance of intelligent, resourceful - all the while so simply practical - information it holds. The author's fluid writing style and unassuming voice make a potentially redundant topic interesting and inspiring. I love its simplicity and immediate applicability. A great read- no matter what you think you already know about your fat.
Best $10 you will ever spend!

I have been in the fitness industry for 9 years, and this is some of the best nutritional information I've seen in a single book. Jay breaks it down to basic, logical advise that is easy to follow. The book is also fun to read, I finished it in one sitting. After reading it you will look at food in a different way.
